Want to Travel between the real and the Virtual World? Get the Pokémon GO! Since, the official launch of the game in only three countries (United States, New Zealand and Australia), it still has become one of the massive hits of the world. Pokémon Go is available on the Apple Store and Google Play Store. The app will be officially launched worldwide in the next few weeks. Trust us Wait is the Worth! (Though the app is available via third-party websites).
Pokémon GO is built on Niantic’s Real World Gaming Platform (the one seen in Ingress) and uses real locations to encourage players to search far and wide in the real world to discover Pokémons. The game allows you to find and catch a lot of Pokémons as you explore your surroundings. All you need to do is Get in the app and once you are in just go and travel around your surroundings to find different Pokémons. To catch the Pokémon take aim on your smartphone’s touch screen and throw a Poké Ball to catch it. Be careful when you try to catch it, or it might run away! In case you have no Poké Balls left, don’t freak out as there are PokéStops (blue colored towers) which are basically located at interesting places, such as public art installations, historical markers, and monuments, where you can collect more Poké Balls and other items like Potions, Revives, Eggs and Raz Berries. Once you climb the ladder you will get various items, depending on your level. All of your caught and seen Pokémons can be found in the PokéDex.

Like PokéStops there are Gyms which can be found at real locations in the world. Gyms are for battles and you can only battle if have the minimum level required. Once you attain that level, you will be asked to join a team. You can join any one team out of the three teams (Instinct, Mystic and Valor). Each player can place only one Pokémon at a particular Gym, so you’ll need to work together with other members of your team to build up a strong defense. If the Gym is already taken by rival team, you can challenge them for a battle against the defending Pokémon using any of the Pokémon you’ve caught. Battles are fun and challenging.
You choose which of your Pokémon will join in. Each Pokémon has two attacks, and can also dodge the defending Pokémon’s attacks if you swipe left or right. If your Pokémon win the battle, then the Gym’s Prestige is reduced. When the Gym’s Prestige drops to zero, the defending team loses control of the Gym, and you or another player on your team can then take control the Gym by assigning a Pokémon to defend it. Once the Gym is under your team’s control, Gym’s Prestige and level can be increased by battling the defending Pokémon. The training battles against your own team help your Pokémon level up as well. As the Gym gets to a higher level, your team can assign more Pokémon to defend it.
While playing Pokémon Go! You can tackle a variety of challenges in different categories, such as catching Pokémon and exploration. By completing such challenges, you can unlock achievement medals that will appear in your player profile. So, try your best to unlock as many medals as you can!
